Norwich City earned their first home Barclays Premier League victory of the season with a win over Sunderland.

Goals from Leon Barnett and Steve Morison either side of the break gave the Canaries a 2-0 lead, before Kieran Richardson netted late on for the Black Cats to ensure a nervous finale.

Paul Lambert's side held out for the three points though and climb to ninth in the Barclays Premier League table.
